Well, it has been a while since I've posted an update. Today, in Demopolis Alabama, the water is still 7 feet to high to safely travel down the Ten Tom River. Plus the temp. in Demopolis is 26 degrees. That is a little chilly to be boating. At this point I do not know when I'll continue my journey. It may be the end of January or possibly as late at the end of February, depending on water hight and temperature.
I have decided to not go to Brownsville, Texas. When I reach Mobile, which is 200 miles down river, I'll make a left turn and begin boating, and hopefully fishing, the waters of the panhandle of Florida.
