Life is just GREAT. The above picture is the sunset in Fort Walton Beach on Sunday, April 11, 2010. I enjoyed my stay in Fort Walton Beach.
The picture above is the sunrise as I left Fort Walton Beach, Monday, the 12th. This was a beautiful sight with the bridge, sunrise and water. I am so blessed to see the sights that I'm seeing.

The picture above and several that follow are dolphin that are swimming along the side of the boat in Choctawhatchee Bay, which takes me ultimately into Panama City.

I anchored south of Panama City in Pearl Bayou. This was a quite Bayou that had an Air Force Recretational Area in the mouth of the Bayou. I fished a little and enjoyed the evening in a quite and beautiful place.

The picture above is a ship/boat manufacturing facilities just south of Pearl Bayou. It is amazing to see this size opperation in this rural part of the country. No towns or activity close by on the water. This is a big operation. I think I counted 9 large crains on sight.

The above pictures are more dalphin swimming along the side of the boat. What a beautiful sight to witness.

The above picture reminds me of the landscape around home. This is a transition from the river into the ditch on the inter coastal waterway. Simular to what you transition through between Goose Creek and the ditch going in front of the Coast Guard Station in Hoboken.

This is a picture of Lake Wimco, which I had to pass accross to get to Apalachiocla. This is fresh water.

The picture below is Apalachicola Bay, which is a large body of water that has barrier islands between it and the Gulf.

Apalacholia Bay joins St Joseph Bay. Carrabelle, Fla. is on St. Joseph bay. This is the inlet in St. Joseph Bay that I'll exit to cross the Gulf to Clearwater Fla.
This is the Carrabelle River which leads up to Carrabelle Fla. I arrived at the Moorings Marina on Tuesday afternoon. It is now Wednesday and according to what the weather reports it will be Friday or Saturday before I depart for Clearwater Fla. This will be a 20 plus hour crossing and I really do want good weather for this part of the journey. I'll wait as long as it takes to get good weather.
The Pelican and I are waiting for good weather.
Later,
Carl
