Today is April 10th and has been a play day. Before I left Dog River Marina I took these pictures of 31' Bertram's that the Marina specializes in refurbishing. This one has two 300 hp outboards. The boat was destroyed when Katrina hit Mobile Bay. The inside and out are totally redone and it is beautiful.
This boat has a price tag of 160,000.00 It also has been totally redone.

I left Dog River Marina and ran down Mobile Bay to the Gulf Coast Inter Coastal Waterway. I entered the waterway at mile marker 150. The picture below is me departing Mobile Bay and heading east toward Florida.

The picture below shows high rise condo on the Gulf Coast. I'm running in the waterway which is between the land and the Gulf. Similar to Bogue Sound and the outer islands between it and the Atlantic Ocean.

I dropped the anchor in Ingram Bayou around 12:00 today. I kayaked, fished and played the rest of the day. There are lots of Dolphins in the bayou that are constantly breaking the water as I think they are feeding. There are lots of pelicans also. I've not been able to get any pictures of either. They are to fast for me. I had dinner, a drink and now an going to turn it in for the night.
Later,
Carl
